AES Wapiti Weekend 2026

*With shooting activities, age 8 and under learn to shoot pellet guns and age 9 and up get to learn .22 rifles. If kids stay together both will learn pellet guns.

I do GIVE PERMISSION for my child to be photographed or videotaped for Camp promotional or educational purposes. I understand there will be no financial remuneration now or in the future.

IN CONSIDERATION FOR THE ABOVE NAMED MINOR (OR THE PERSON SO INDICATED IN THE PARTS OF THIS FORM) BEING PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN CAMP ACTIVITIES THAT MAY BE CONSIDERED TO HAVE A HIGHER THAN NORMAL ELEMENT OF RISK, I AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING WAIVER, RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION. I apply for said minor to participate in the following activities: Archery, shooting sports, climbing wall, rappelling, hiking, and kayaking. I understand that these activities may expose him/her to greater-than-normal risk due to the characteristics of the activity and uncontrollable nature of surrounding elements. These risks may include equipment malfunction, loss of control, collisions, and obstacles, variation of terrain, and unexpected actions by other people. I understand that participants may act in a negligent manner that can contribute to injury of themselves or others, such as failing to maintain control, not acting within his or her abilities, or not following rules and instructions. These risks can result in injury or death. THE UNDERSIGNED PARENT, GUARDIAN, OR CUSTODIAN OF THE ABOVE MINOR HEREBY JOINS IN THE FOREGOING WAIVER AND RELEASE AND HERBY RELEASES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS FOREVER NOT TO SUE THE ARIZONA ELK SOCIETY, THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, AND VOLUNTEERS, FOR LIABILITY FROM ANY AND ALL LOSS OR DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR WRONGFUL DEATH WHETHER CAUSED BY ANY NEGLIGENCE, EITHER ACTIVE OR PASSIVE OF THE ARIZONA ELK SOCIETY OR OTHERWISE

BE IT KNOWN THAT I, parent/guardian, do hereby give and grant unto any medical doctor or hospital my consent and authorization to render such aid, treatment, or care to said participant as in the judgment of said doctor or hospital that may be required, on an emergency basis in the event said participant should be stricken ill or injured while participating in an Arizona Elk Society (AES) activity, sponsored by the Arizona Elk Society. I understand that any expenses incurred are the responsibility of the parent/guardian or the insurance carrier provided by the parent/guardian, and the payment of any medical expense is NOT the responsibility of the Arizona Elk Society.

I further understand and agree to abide by the general rules of conduct prescribed for participants of the AES and that violations may result in the denial of privileges, a forfeiture of all fees paid and immediate removal from AES activities. I have read this release, I understand that it affects unspecified legal rights and responsibilities, and hereby agree and consent to its terms and conditions and hereby waive any claims arising from participation in activities or programs of the Arizona Elk Society and the Arizona Game and Fish Department during the AES event.
